May 1978: First Black Photographers Annual Show, featuring the work of University of Baltimore School of Law alumnus and faculty member, John Clark Mayden.​

July 1979: CAP Summer Art Exhibit features the work of world renown artists, Jules Bell and Rebecca P. Albaugh.​

1980: New Music Baltimore Series presents a community outreach concert featuring the Brotzmann-Miller-Moholo Trio and the Irene Schweizer-Rudiger Carl Duo from Berlin.​

September 1980: Opera singer, Ella Lee, travels from California to perform in concert.​

1981: Local soprano opera singer, Margaret Lindsay, gives a special concert for CAP.​
